Anthony W. Grigas is a mixed media artist and educator living in Northeastern Pennsylvania. He received a Bachelors of Fine Arts from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, focusing primarily in the art of photography, and continued expanding his understanding of traditional and digital photography while attending classes at Savannah College of Art and Design, located in Savannah, Georgia. He discovered a love of art education while assisting for N.E.I.U. 19’s Arts Alive program. Since then, he has been involved in several art- and education-focused workshops, including the SCAD Summer Seminars and the Artist Educator Forum, both located in Savannah, Georgia. He also was a general education instructor for elementary and high school students in the foreign city of Tbilisi, Georgia, before becoming the Everhart Museum’s Coordinator of Interpretive Programs in December 2014.
